Absolute neighbourhood gem! Coffee? Breakfast? Beautiful view? Cosy space during a rainy day? Cottage cafe got them all! I got the breakfast sandwich, don’t be fooled by the simplicity of its look as it packs delicious flavours inside. I got an iced latte and it was also delicious! I was able to enjoy my treats in a sunny day In the patio that faces the lake-STUNNING! The service was fast, you order at the counter but they will bring your food to you if you’re sitting in. Many sitting options and parking available nearby! If you’re unlucky and don’t get a seat I recommend a stroll alongside the lake!

The place is *cute*, the views are amazing and the vibes are impeccable. The food is homemade, and comes on cute cozy dishes. The kitchen and bar are busy, lots of busy people - a little homespun chaos from time to time - but it's all good natured and easy going, nice energy. The coffee is generally good, but the vibes more than make up for the occasional inconsistent latte

I read through a few negative reviews and do not understand them. I go out of my way to visit this spot. Their breakfast sandwhich is one of the best in the city; my iced lattes are perfect every time. The staff has been lovely every time. The atmosphere is so relaxing and inviting.

Charming cafe by the lake with fabulous coffee, food and views. Breakfast sandwich was great vegetarian option and my husband enjoyed his BLT. Latte was great and got a blueberry scone to go. I loved the laptop ban from 10-2 pm ! Nice patio and lakeside seating and dog friendly .

The food and the view alone makes this a stellar place. It's a waterfront café, right on Banook. Makes for the perfect Sunday morning date and walk. Got a bacon breakfast sando and an oat cappuccino. Total with taxes and tips was $20. Falls in the typical range for a local café beverage and breakfast. They've got scones and other delicious treats baked fresh all day long.

That is my experience, and I express myself. Yours might be different. The location is perfect , there are lots of free parking . Decorations and layout, require improvements. I was standing for some time before I realized that I was in the wrong spot to order. The coffee shop inside is medium-sized. Can fit small groups. I liked the outdoor spots. Decorations from inside might be some but may not be for all. Service is excellent, the employees are friendly and treated us as they knew us. Friendly with a smile . I liked it. I hade the sandwich breakfast it was good but nothing special. Prices, I see the prices we paid for a coffee and sandwich as breakfast (for me is high). It might be ok for others. Overall, the place is good and is recommended
